Our famous endurance bike enjoys a little electrical assistance in the E-765 OPTIMUM model. The motor of choice is the FAZUA Evation, light and versatile with a removable battery that boasts up to 80km of autonomy. The Red glossy paintwork is completed by a set of carbon Vittoria wheels and a Shimano Ultegra Di2 electronic groupset.
The E-765 OPTIMUM is the result of years of experience that has enabled us to build a frame that is both lightweight and durable, while being manufactured in our own production facilities. This bike also continues a story that has been written over the years and was started with Bernard Hinault's first pedal strokes with LOOK.
Only slightly heavier than a traditional road bike, the astonishing performance of the E-765 Optimum will have you back on the steepest of slopes, rolling for endless miles or comfortably pedaling with your faster friends.. Best of all, even Bernard Hinault has succumbed to its charms. It is a bike that has been designed by cyclists, for cyclists - and that means for all cyclists.Detachable Battery
Designed as a single motor and battery unit, the FAZUA system used in the E-765 OPTIMUM allows for the option of leaving the electrical unit at home. The unit can be replaced with a storage container, to protect the frame, for a fully human-powered pedaling experience.
Impressive Pedalling Efficiency
The free application offered by FAZUA converts the E-765 into a connected bike. Connected directly to the battery, track its life and charge status, as well as its temperature. Including navigation and GPS tracking, the app can offer several routes to a chosen destination, stating the drop and the distance that can be covered based on the battery charge status. Analyze your journeys in real-time using the speedometer, and after your session, by consulting a summary of your efforts.
The low overall weight and seamless motor engagement produces a ride sensation that is close to that of a muscle-powered bike. There is no added pedal resistance when the unit is not offering assist, due to the complete disengagement of the motor. The handlebar-mounted remote enables precise control of the electrical assist. There are 4 available modes: 0 W mode where you rely solely on your legs, two intermediate modes with respective power ratings of 125 W and 250 W, and finally, rocket mode, which can reach a maximum power assist of 400 W. Riders can control their range by making use of both human and electrical power. An average range of 53 miles has been recorded for mixed-use. In the mountains the mixed-use average is 32 kilometers (20 miles) in the mountains and 53 (33 miles) in the city.
